About NextGen Hackathon
Fostering Innovation. Empowering Collaboration. Advancing Impact.
NextGen Hackathon is an international technology event designed to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, rapid prototyping, and future-focused innovation.
Held in partnership with Université Côte d’Azur and hosted in the Sophia Antipolis research and innovation cluster, the hackathon serves as a platform where academia, industry, and entrepreneurial talent converge to address meaningful challenges of tomorrow.
Over the course of 48 hours, participants from diverse academic backgrounds and professional domains will work in teams to conceptualize, develop, and present digital solutions to real-world problems across key sectors such as sustainability, healthcare, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
The event offers a rigorous yet inspiring environment combining structured mentorship, access to subject-matter experts, and state-of-the-art infrastructure. It is designed to cultivate practical experience, interdisciplinary learning, and the kind of innovation that extends beyond the event itself — into real startups, research projects, and social impact initiatives.
Beyond technical execution, NextGen Hackathon emphasizes ethical innovation, responsible design, and long-term value creation.
It is a unique opportunity for students, researchers, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to engage in hands-on creation while building meaningful connections with peers, mentors, investors, and technology leaders.
We invite you to join us on the French Riviera in June 2025 — to collaborate, to challenge, and to contribute to the future of technology.
